Queen and Baloons

This is the statue of Queen Victoria, outside the Queen Victoria Building. The queen was decorated for some reason that I don't know. Looked nice :)

The Big Issue...

... Sex for Sale!
Another on the spot click. This was very close to the last picture I posted. This saleswoman(???) tried to sell the mag to a friend with me. And the way he turned and ran was amazing. :P

Hush!

Another on the spot click. These two little girls were discussing something just as the pedestrian light went green. And so the tug to come on. The bottom left is the shoulder of my friend, who almost came right in the middle of the frame to spoil the moment. Grrrr!!!!

Looking Ahead

This pair of mom-daughter were so intently busy watching, that their faces gave out loads of emotions for the performers. Here and here is a peep at what the little girl was clapping for.

Relax!

Aah!! This one is a real on-the-spot click! Saw her in this pose for a few seconds, just enough to switch-on my camera, and take the shot! She was waiting for the walking light to turn green!

News: I have started a photoblog for the panorama pics that I have taken/will take. Check it out here.

Turn Left

I guess even I would be that way, knowing that I am right handed. Its the most comfortable position for right-handers I presume.

Drums

Ok. This is well off the issue of musicians in Sydney City. This is from my trip to Melbourne that I took last weekend!
This picture also ends the musicians on the street series.

Another name I forget

This one is also near Circular Quay. Now I don't remember what this instrument is called, but remember seeing loads of Indian actors play this in the movies of the 80's. And to say the least, this person played amazing music. He was the only one who deserved my money, though I gave it to all the ones I shot!

Trombone

A little off the Pitt St. mall, this is at the Hyde Park.
Update: After Timurilenk's comment, I corrected the name of the post from Trumpet to Trombone

Not sure what this is called

Not sure of what this is called. But she played awesome music. And to add to it she was blind.

Violin

The Violinst. She was unpacking when I first saw her. Took another pic, but it turned out to be a little hazy :(

Guitar

Whereever you go, someone or the other does play the guitar. I find it as the un-avoidable instrument :)
(I won't be in Sydney for the next 3 days, so will post pre-dated pics when I get back)

Flute

When in Sydney City Centre, one thing that one cannot miss is the number of amateur musicians playing their instruments for alms. I decided to make a small series of the different instruments that I saw when in the city.

Leaf & Lines

Guess the title mentions it all. Saw this outside my building last night, after a small downpour (finally!!) in Sydney

Kids at play

Children at Coogee beach, trying to make sand-castles of dry sand! :) I won't be coming online tomorrow, so thought of putting one up today itself.

This pic brings an end to the mini-series of children that I thought of putting up.

Little Red Riding Hood

This picture was taken at the same place as yesterday's. Seemed to be the previous girl's sister/friend.

Pink-Blue-Red-Pink

Some girls were in action at the Tamarana Beach. This is one of them.

Pink Gurl

A cute little girl I saw at the beach the other day. She was playing with her parents. Here is another pic of hers.

Chish and Fips?!?

The best name of an outlet selling seafood. Saw this at the Coogee Beach.

Black and Blue

They stood and stared at the sea for so long, that even I climbed next to them to see what they were staring at :D Here's another pic of theirs.
Update: Earlier, this picture was titled Stare, but after Timurilenk's comment, I found this name more interesting. What say?

Are we ready?

This couple was trying to cross a break in the rocks. There were two ways out: Take the plunge into the water, and then back on the rocks. Or Walk around the cut in the rocks. That would be about 50 meters, right of the picture. The couple did the brave thing, and walked right into the water :)

Colourful Steps

Saw this flight of steps somewhere near Manly Beach.

Which one tastes the best?

A man reading the types of fishes found near the Bronte Beach.

Saturday, 4 June 2005

Does he even love me?

This pair seemed to be fighting on the complete walk that they took together. God knows what conspired!
(Couldn't post a pic yesterday, was very busy. So decided to pre-date this one)

Finding Neverland!

Saw this student, first staring and then studying at the edge of the cliffs. I'm sure of onething, I can't study at such a place. I'll be extremely distracted by the scenery!

A Solitary Reader 2

I was there again! For just another pic though! Will start reading there hopefully soon.

A Solitary Reader 1

The best place to read a book: right infront of the ocean. Saw a few like her. I really thought this to be a nice way to get back on your reading. I am thinking following suit, pretty soon!
