A long time no post, I finish off what remains of the Back Alley series. I still don't have a camera, and I dont have time at hand to take too many pictures. But I do have archives which I shall run through to check what is worthy a post now :)

...at work. They shall be heavily working on this weekend, with the only 2 matches remaining being the 3rd place and the finals. Best of luck to all the teams I say. No itnerest left in this worldcup, as I was supporting Germany and Portugal. Both face off tomorrow for the 3rd place match.
I shall be in Berlin over the weekend, with lots of friends coming over here, its going to be a ball of a time, I hope :)

Here's a son and dad, wondering whether Germany shall save its pride winning Saturday's match, and coming 3rd in the worldcup. With not the best squad for Germany, who could've thought that they'd be in this far.

Reflections

Another shot from Berlin. A time when I had a tripod, and could shoot at leisure. Sigh!! This one is of river Elbe. It also happens to pass behind my house, but by then it's dirty enough to be called the Black River by locals.

Was in Swiss over the weekend. While coming back, my bag got stolen at the Frankfurt Station. Lost my camera, tripod, iPod, clothes and expensive keys with that.

I guess I'll be posting some of my archives, and then this blog shall be closed till I get a new camera, which shall be an Digi-SLR mostly. Till then, I shall feel cheated, with no apparatus to shoot from :(

What's the rate?

With Germany just knocking out Argentina to go into Semis, the betting shall increase all the more for the matches. This one was taken after the match was over.

That's what the FIFA World Cup Organising team calls people with orange jackets on. Strong, bouncer kind of men, to hold the hooligans off. Nice version of the english stewards I must say! This one Had a nice shave, and he obliged to be shot :)

Elephants and Pram

Took this shot outside the Zoo-garten, Berlin, at 9.00 AM. With the place not opening for another hour, the kids came here quite quickly, I must say. We decided to skip this place for the next time we go there, that's 2 weeks from now.

Why?

Why don't we go and eat? That's what kannad kept saying while we roamed the streets of Brussels. Photos from tomorrow: Berlin trip.

News: I Get to see a world cup match :) Its on the coming Monday, 19/06/06. Ukraine vs Saudi Arabia.

Now before anyone gives me lessons on what teams to watch, I got this ticket after being on the wait list for more than 2 months. Whatever it is, I shall be happy :)

The €5 Photo

At the Swarovski Factory, we saw loads of photos, that were being sold for a sum of €5. These pics were taken at random locations in and around the place, of random people. I thought I'll take one too, but of a friend :)

This one was also taken in Innsbruck. Saw this set of dad-son ready to race on their scooter with the kid on the bike. They were waiting for the signal :)

Long Thought

Took this one in Innsbruck, near the Golden Dachl.

Went to berlin on Saturday, watched Da Vinci Code. Came back at 7 in the morning. Slept on Sunday, and on Monday. Didn't carry my camera to berlin, so shall be posting some archives from my across-europe trips.

Man with 2 rods :P

After a cold night in the open in Cannes, we were at the beach early in the morning. We found a man fishing with his friend. Not the best place to catch something I guess. But still, here he was :)

This weekend, strapped off cash, I go to Berlin, a place near by :) Don't know if I'll post for the next 3 days :)

Took this photo at the Imperial Palace, Vienna (correct me coz I know I am wrong) I was hoping for all the three to jump, but as the title says it, Pursha Didn't Jump! :(

I leave for Nice (France) today, via Basel->Geneva->Lyon Part Dieu. Reason ain't the beaches, but the F1 that happens at Monaco-Monte Carlo. And then I shall be back with Milan and Munich on the way. Next post on Monday 29th May.

Mahatma Gandhi gave the concept of the 3 bad monkeys: Dont hear bad things, dont see bad things, dont speak bad things.
The first three are that. Now, the last is the punishment, incase u make the mistake... and that is "Haath upar, aur GMD" (hands up, and you are screwed! :P).
This is courtsey Onkar, the one with the hands over his ears. The others are Pursha, Sarmistha, and Sumedh, my group for the trip to Austria :)

We ran into a wedding while going to see Old Peter's Church in Munich. When the couple walked to the lunch, we covered the marriage :) The videos are listed on my blog.

Go Bayern Go!!!

All I did in Munich was party with the victorious FC Bayern München Fans! Here's one completely dressed for the game vs. Dortmund. Bayern Munchen also won the Bundesliga, the German Football league! The complete story about our weekend at Munich is on my blog.

A late post. I was bogged down with work, and planning for the weekend. Finally decided: Munich. Here's a "well-painted" door that we saw yesterday. Looks nice doesn't it? :)
