Lone Walker

With a view of the ocean for most of the 4 km walk, it is haven for morning/evening/daytime walking. Saw this woman trying real hard to complete the course. Here is another picture of hers'.

Two Stranded 'Lovers'?

Went on the Coogee-Bondi Walk last weekend. Without doubt, I would be posting a few shots from the trip. Saw these two near the edge. Thought what were they upto! I also made a few panorama pics of the scenery. They can be viewed on my panorama page.

Idle Walk

After swimming yesterday, while I was on my way to the library to check mail, saw the grass mower at work. I tried lots of shots to get the mower in action. Though, didn't manage a good one. This is one of the ones I started off with. The chap clad in white was crossing the quadrangle, kicking an invisible ball. Here is another one of the many shots.

Ok. Seriously I have no idea what so ever, as to what is this. I was taking some night pictures around the university yesterday. And to my dismay, I didn't get one worthy of being posted. But right in the middle of the pictures, was this one. I don't know what or where or when this was taken. But I guess it looks nice to the eye. So, here it is!

Concentration

This girl was sitting diagonally opposite me in the library. I think she looks beautiful :P.
Coming to the point, when she sat down to work, she didn't have her spectacles on. But as soon as she put them on, I felt the need to take her picture. With so much concentration she worked, that she didn't realize that her picture was being taken. I did tell her though, after I took it. We went for a movie together after that :)). BTW, the blurr at the bottom of the picture is my Keyboard. Thought it gave a good feel to the image. What do you say?

Amritsar, Punjab, Australia?!?

Haven't been well since the past two days. With strong cold winds, I am not really feeling comfortable in Sydney. Have been in lab/home all day. With no time to shoot, I thought I wouldn't put up a pic today. But while watching TV last night, saw a documentary on Punjab :) And I tried capturing the TV through my camera. This is the only one that came out as if it looked original. Would like to know what you think about this shot.

Reflections II

This picture was taken at the same place as the last one. While sitting on the marina, my friend and I thought how expensive would a meal be in the boat restaurant. Not able to curtail our curiosity, we finally entered the restaurant, and to think of it, paid $40 for a meal each! For the unknown, this was the costliest meal that I have had in Sydney!

Underhand Dealing?

With construction work going around my building at the Uni., we are never in peace when in our labs. I thought the men who disturb us deserve to be shot! I did just that ;).
Here, I saw these two men talking when I was leaving for lunch. I presume the conversation must be like:

A: I told you to do 'that' that way.
B: When did you tell me that?
A: What the fcuk? I told you over lunch.
B: And when did we have lunch?
A: What the hell. U've Lost It.
B: Buzz off. I don't care.
A: hmmmph!
B: baah!

Dog Walk

Saw this couple (?) walking their dog, in campus yesterday. After I took this shot, I guess the lady realised what I was doing. So, she started walking in really awkward directions, to avoid being shot again! Hardly she knew that I had got what I needed!

Run!

The only way I realised that this was the correct way of seeing this snap was the staircase railing! This picture was also taken in the bookfair. With parents coming with their children, the kids played havoc in the hall!

With a high population of Asians in Australia, the university campus is filled with Asian food-outlets. Saw this couple having stuff at one of the cafeteria. The owner had problems with me using the camera, so had to hide behind the bush to take the snap!

There are some images in your mind that you think you will capture someday. This is one of them for me. Since the day I landed in Sydney, I have had the thought of catching someone in a Telstra phonebooth, talking.
